Michael Ranieri started personal training clients back in 1995 obtaining his first personal trainer certification from the American Council On Exercise (ACE) as a Certified Personal Trainer and shortly after that became an ACE Certified Health Coach when the concept of personal training was basically unknown or fairly new to the public. Michael went on to get certified as a personal trainer (NSCA-CPT) for the (NSCA) National Strength and Conditioning Association allowing him to train various general populations and achieved his credential at a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for the NSCA (NSCA-CSCS) allowing him to train sports populations for sports-specific performance. I guess you could consider him a pioneer in the field? As the industry of personal training grew, Michael was on a circuit with various professional organizations teaching future personal trainers in different states how to open and operate a personal training businesses. Since then, he has served as the state director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for two consecutive terms (2001-2007), was the Chair of the NSCA personal trainer interest group and NSCA Personal Trainer of the Year in 2005. He also holds a BS Degree from Rutgers University and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh-Dickinson University. He has appeared on Local Channel 12 News answering fitness and health questions to news watchers on a program called “In Your Corner”. After training over a thousand clients ranging from pre-teenagers to older adults, he still holds a passion for helping people realize their health and fitness goals.
